For more than 90 years, Chiesi has been developing innovative therapeutic solutions and services to improve people’s quality of life: a commitment driven by the Group’s mission to address unmet needs and generate lasting value for patients, communities and the planet.
At Chiesi, we strive to be a force for good—using our work to create a lasting, positive impact on people, communities, and the planet.
In 2018, Chiesi became a Benefit Corporation in Italy and the United States, later extending this status to France, and Colombia, thereby legally embedding our social mission into the way we operate.
In 2019, we proudly achieved B Corp certification, a recognized standard for measuring our commitment to social and environmental responsibility.
Embedded in its strategy, this systemic approach enables us to anticipate and address complex sustainability challenges, ensuring that every step we take contributes to shared value and long-term positive change.
Aligned with Chiesi’s ambition to generate Shared Value, Chiesi Gardens will reimagine the Via Palermo site, in Parma (Italy), as a space open to participation, collaboration and new connections.
As a catalyst for urban regeneration, the project aims at revitalizing the district, highlighting the relationship between human and planetary health, while serving as a landmark of innovation and skills development in the field of care and beyond.

The urban regeneration of the Chiesi Via Palermo site is an act of care towards Parma, and in particular the San Leonardo neighborhood that has been our home for seventy years.
